Personality : Nyota is a wise lion he often thinks hard about things before he speaks. He cares a lot about people, espicially his mate, Tamu. When he is tasked to do something, he always puts it above any other thing. He loves to do a good job on things and is very neat and sophisticated. However, his worst fear is quitting a task.

History: Nyota was born a little off the coast around the same time as Tamu. His parents were very nice and were rulers of a pride. He was raised to be the prince of his kingdom, but he was very cowardly, so his parents thought twice about his title before officially giving him the crown.
When he was a adult, he ran into a lioness named Mitu, who was lost and had no family. Nyota let her in on the pride, and his parents gladly accepted. As time went by, the two fell in love. However, Nyota found a shocking discovery, that his soon to be mate was using him. Seeing this, Nyota dumped her, and Mitu didn't even care.
He decided to go on a journey to find a real mate. Soon, he got lost, but Tamu, a young lioness, had found him, and promised to take him to The Pridelands. As the days went by on their journey, Nyota's friendship with Tamu grew into something else, love. When they finally arrived at the Pridelands, Nyota proposed to the lioness. She eagerly accepted.
As days and nights passed, Mohatu, ruler of the Pridelands, exiled Nyota. He knew what male lions did to cubs at his age. Tamu, heart broken, went with him. However, she made a terrible choice. While looking for a new home, Nyota got bit by a venomous snake, leaving quite a wound on his front paws. This made walking a lot harder for him. Eventually, they spotted help. A rogue lioness, who was actually pretty far from them. They tried shouting after her, but instead, a rogue lion found them. The rogue immediantly attacked him, and he passed out from his wounds. He snarled at Tamu and walked away. Tamu knew that he was dead, and walked home. He was dead, but he would be known as Tamu's journey partner in the many stories told about her.
